Ear Nose Throat Clinic (ENT)
Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Clinic (ENT)
We are privileged to have onsite Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) doctors, also referred to as otolaryngologists, who share withus us their expertise, and with whom we work collaboratively with. Although we are located in the same unit, please note that Sound Advice Hearing Clinic and the ENT office are two separate clinics. If you would like to consult directly with an onsite ENT, a physician’s referral will need to be faxed to their clinic (ENT Fax: 416.499.9392).
An ENT is a doctor that medically and surgically treats individuals with problems of the ear, nose, throat, and associated areas of the head and neck. An ENT provides medical information and intervention, including surgery, for causes of hearing loss. A few examples include treating ear infections, eardrum perforations, and fused inner-ear bones. An audiologist tests and treats non-medical aspects of hearing related problems, such as performing hearing tests, providing tinnitus counselling, and prescribing and fitting hearing aids.
